Planning for wedding is really a tough thing.Learnt something abt choosing dates.would like to share with you guys for future usage

Roughly choose the month that you wan2 get married and held wedding
Next, check out the ideal hotel that you wan and their availability of that month
Ask them to block those dates for you and *if you need to check auspicious dates* check whether the available dates are auspicious.
Next, hand these dates to yr in-laws after picking out the auspiciousÂ dates that hotel is available.
Tell them that these are the good dates that the hotel is available.

why do i share this? It's becos i went a big round selecting dates. Cos all the dates we choose, the ideal hotel is booked for those dates. Thus we have to change dates or postponed the wedding date to a much later date.

At least now i've a date that my wife and I are comfortable. It's a Sat and it's an auspicious date. But there's a worry is that that date my wife's auntie and cousin's birthday. Scare it will " ZHUANG XI ", dunno will a not.. can someone can tell me..

ya.. preparing banquet & choosing date is a big knowledge to learn. Im learning toO thr my bro\'s one.

Abt the question u mention, zhuang xi usually for yr wedding to other ppl\'s wedding. My dad\'s side cousin happen to have wedding one month after ours. Therefore the couple didnt come. HOwever their parents are coming.

Birthdays are usually not consider lah. Unless the bday gals of yr relatives is uncomfortable with this, they can dont attend yrs. My cousin bday is happen to my brother wedding. She dun mind, somemore willing to lend her birth cert for us (for catering promotion discount)to help us to catering buffet during tea cermonary in our hse.

FOr yr advice, dun make yrself so miserable due to the date. It is jus a date for u n yr wife to celebrate in future. U will have more things to worry as the date is getting nearer..

aye... fortunately, i dont have to worry about auspicious date. my parents not auspicious 1z.

as for wedding location and date.. decided. see, i already said must plan early. if u want to get ur ideal date plus place, u must book at least 1.5 yrs before.

btw, i thought u looking at good packages? why suddenly talk about choosing ideal hotel?

I wonder what n how auspicious date is calculated.

thanks for sharing with us the tips.. for me i not sure if i would want to have dinner in hotel. If my partner and hisÂ parentÂ is fine without it then i will not want to have it.

Just a church wedding and perhaps a wedding reception. haha but one thing abt honeymoon i haveÂ few options. Israel,Tasmania, or italy. haha if he dont mind then we go for mission trip together a unique honeymoon.
