Pre-marriage encounter (FINAL)

Today i found the answer from today's SUNDAY mass. The answer that i've been finding for months. This month, i am going to ROM. Before today, i've this question in my heart. Am i ready for marriage? From today's mass and gospel and FATHER's interpretation.

FATHER was saying that marriage life is not abt ideal, it's about accepting each other's uniqueness. We're created in every different way, in our own unique way. We should not live our life in a ideal way as ideal is man-made. We, humans make that IDEAL. But we're created in different unique way.

As in Genesis, woman is created from a rib from man, the man and woman are "one body". When a man leave the parents, he moved on to his wife.

In the society, you can see that's there's so much divorce cases. Most of the cases are that both parties wanted to make their marriage "IDEAL", wanted their own way. Believe that their way is the best way out but they have nelgected the other party.

As there's a phrase is the vows during marriage, "i will take you as you are" . This phrase is not being carried out and it's often nelgected and forgotten. Did we forgotten abt this? NO... it's becos we began to be selfish and only think of ourself and what we want.

Aren't we supposed to accept each other's uniqueness?

Today i finally got my answer to my "pre-marriage syndrome" This will be my final Pre-marriage encounter and soon i'm stepping into Marriage.

I know that this "vocation of Marriage" is not easy but with GOD's love, i will be loved and i will bring GOD's love into me and letting me LOVE my wife more. Without GOD's love, my LOVE is limited. With GOD's guidance and blessing, i will LOVE dear dear as long as i lives.

Later going to Orchard with Dear dear to find her shoes for ROM. And thank GOD for making today a good weather as the haze is gradually going away.

aye, so i say, it\'s best to find a person who can know you inside out. can understand or not doesnt matter. must at least know, so that i solve the \'know\' part. the understanding part is problematic enough.

wa.. havent buy shoes. orchard metro shoes nicer, newer, but always more expensive. if u were to buy it a few months later at another metro, it would be 40% less.

for me, i am not contented marrying a nobody. if dat\'s the case, i\'d rather not get married. after all, my friends also know that i am the \'dont want to get married kind\'.

love is impt. but he also must be somebody. i admire and appreciate capability because they are wad i define as \'beauty\'. if u have noticed, i aim to be a perfectionist, because i view that as \'beauty\'. i cannot marry someone who just loves me, cos over time, my feelings will die off. he must be capable and better than me in every way so that i will have that kind of security and admiration.

with this, i know you will bet to differ. love love... how long can love last? i still need him to possess the qualities that can make me love him.

i didnt compare myself with others. others always compare themselves with me.Â they jealous then anyhow say me. of cos i canÂ ignore, but i also hate people to anyhow say me.Â

aye.. some people got abandoned, then they anyhow get attached to the one\'s available. I dont believe in getting attached so soon after breaking up with someone, or losing a love. it either means dat u treat the person as substitute, or dat u dont value love to change ur love so easily. "pleasing someone" and genuine love" involves making the other party happy. so the effects are the same lor.... Some ppl say attached = bf/gf. not i say 1z. love but not attached. people always say that it sounds strange. *shrugz* Hmm, u n ur wife have joy, but i dont see u making it sound so fantasy. some things r juz overboard. only good n no bad makes things so unreal.

i grew up seeing the bad side of marriage. so i dont want to get married lo.. scared liao. the beauty of courtship often turns to ugliness after marriage. no matter how perfect a couple is, also sure quarrel wad.
